Using this website
This site provides information about our services and courses. Nothing on it constitutes a binding offer; engagements begin only when scope and authorisation are agreed in writing.
Security services
All security testing requires written authorisation from the owner of the system being tested. By requesting an assessment you confirm you own the system or are authorised to commission work on it. If that turns out not to be the case, we will stop work immediately and no refund will be due.
Security testing carries inherent risk. We take reasonable care to avoid disruption, but you should have current backups before any engagement begins. Specific liability terms are set out in the engagement contract.
What we will not do
We do not accept work involving access to systems, accounts, devices or data belonging to anyone who has not authorised it. See our responsible security policy for the full list.
Academy courses
Course access is personal to the enrolled student and may not be shared or resold. Lab environments are provided for coursework only; testing anything outside the stated scope of an exercise, including other students' instances, ends access without refund.
Course material is provided for authorised assessment work and defensive practice. You are responsible for how you apply it, and for complying with the law where you are.
Payments and refunds
Fees, milestones and refund terms are set out at the point of purchase or in the engagement contract. Where a course has not been started, contact us and we will deal with refund requests reasonably.
Intellectual property
Course materials, lab environments, reports and this website remain our intellectual property. Reports we produce for you are yours to use internally and to share with your auditors as needed.
Reviews
Reviews submitted through this site are moderated before publication. We publish or decline them; we do not edit the wording. We remove reviews that contain personal data, abuse or confidential detail.
